Burdett-Coutts & Townshend Foundation CE Primary School is a Church of England Voluntary Aided school serving a diverse and fascinating central London community. Our pupils come from a variety of social, ethnic and economic backgrounds and we place a strong emphasis on working together and mutual understanding.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. Burdett-Coutts & Townshend Foundation CE Primary School is a one-form entry primary school with a nursery & preschool, located in the City of Westminster. Founded in 1849, we have a well established identity and a positive reputation amongst the local community. Our school serves the parish of St. Stephen with St. John, and has strong ties with the Church and the extended community. The Christian ethos is embedded across the school by pupils, parents and staff.

We are looking for inspirational, energetic and outstanding Class Teachers, for either our EYFS/ KS1 or KS2 classes; with the knowledge and vision to build on the school’s successes. If you are committed to, and driven by a passion for making learning fun and exciting, yet challenging, then we would love to meet you.
