Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills (OfSTED)
The Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills (OfSTED) carries out regular inspections of each school in England, resulting in a published evaluation of the effectiveness of the school.
In January 2019, we were inspected under Ofsted’s new and robust arrangements for short inspections and we are delighted to publish this letter confirming that our school is still judged as ‘good’ and that our strategies and improvements across the board are having the desired impact.
As the recent changes to Ofsted’s criteria of judgement now demand more by way of rates of progress across all key stages than ever before, we are pleased to receive this judgement. We will continue striving forwards for further improvement and the benefit all our students.

Other reports and publications:
The School Performance Tables published by the Department for Education gives information on the achievements of pupils in schools and colleges, and how they compare with other schools and colleges in the Local Authority (LA) area and in England as a whole.
Parent View is an online facility launched by Ofsted that allows parents and carers the chance to tell them what they think about their child’s school at any time of the school year. Ofsted uses this information when making decisions about which schools to inspect, and when.
